Withernsea - May/June 2022
We were thinking of retirng to Withernsea and thought we had best visit to see if we liked it. Ultimately, reearch can only tell you so much about an area.
Withernsea is a small town with lots of ameneties including a golf course, dog friendly beach and lovely walks along the promenade. After our week long stay and walking around almost every street in town, we have decided that this is the place we want to retire to.
The house we stayed in was a two double bedroomed terrace at the southern end of town, a minute walk from the beach. It was lovely and clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There was a large lounge diner, galley kitchen and full bathroom to the ground floor. Off road parking in the rear garden with a small patio area large enough to take in the evening sun. Upstairs were the bedrooms and a shower room. The beds were very comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. The only noise we heard was seagulls, they were absolutely huge!.
